If there was one thing that used to crush my hopes instantly in the past it was seeing someone speak with such ease in social gatherings that you couldn’t help but wonder how they seize the attention of the onlookers while I have to find a quiet place in the corner to bury my face and avoid any interaction.
But what introverts (who often crib about being an introvert, like I used to) don’t realize is that we have a lot to offer to this world and to people around us. We’re good at observing, analyzing, talking in small groups, showing empathy, listening and so on. These skills are in high demand both at work and in personal life.
In the past I was so caught up being depressed and harsh on myself that I hardly visualized the positive side of me. Now I’ve found my passion in trying to help small businesses market their products to their target audience in a creative way.
It’s often easy to look at others and sulk but very difficult to channelize our thoughts and tell our mind stories that introverts are worthy of achieving good things.
If you’re reading this and you are an introvert then be proud of who you are as I believe every introvert is gifted with an innate ability that he/she can make use of not just to bring sunshine in their own life but to others around them.
Besides imagine a world where everyone wants to just talk all the time. Who would listen to them patiently?
